Cindy Lewthwaite
Head Professional and General Manager
Eaglequest Kelowna
Cindy began golf at the age of 11 at the Penticton Golf & Country Club. She became a member of the LPGA in 1980, working one year in the San Diego area before returning to Canada to work at the Osoyoos Golf Club. In 1983 she joined the staff at the Kelowna Golf & Country Club and remained there for nine years, working with Head Professional Irv Taylor. After taking a few years off to have two children, she returned to teaching golf at Eaglequest Kelowna, where she has been a member of the professional staff since 1997.
Cindy enjoys teaching golfers of all calibres and ages. She helps many beginner female players develop confidence in their skills, and loves the thrill of watching them hit the ball well for the first time. She also creates a fun learning environment for our junior summer camps, teaching the basics to both junior boys and girls.
Cindy and her husband, Don, have two children, Charlie 14 and Charlotte 11. They enjoy family activities including skiing, camping and boating.
