Bruce Tapp

Bruce first became a member of the CPGA as an apprentice in 1977 at the Banff Springs Golf Club. He obtained his class "A" head professional status in 1982. Bruce's experience and knowledge of the golf swing enables players of all levels to benefit from his teaching. His competitive background in competition gives him the ability to assist players looking for improved Tournament scoring.
Bruce has been happily married for 30 years to Marilyn and they have 3 grown children. They have lived on Vancouver Island for 29 years.

KRISTIAN PALMER
CPGA Associate Professional
Eaglequest Nanaimo
Kristian started in the golf industry in 1992 at Kelowna Springs Golf Course. Three years later, he moved to Kokanee Springs Golf Resort and became a member of the Canadian Professional Golfers’ Association at the age of 20. Prior to arriving at Eaglequest, Kris has also held Assistant Professional positions at Olympic View and Mount Brenton Golf Courses on Vancouver Island. Kris’s education includes being a graduate of the Professional Golf Management Program through Camosun College, the TCCP Levels 1 thru 4 as well as attaining CPGA Class ‘A’ member status in 2005. Kris and his wife Christy have been Island residents for the past 11 years and currently reside in Ladysmith.
Ian McDonald
CPGA Teaching Professional
Eaglequest Nanaimo
Ian was educated in the field of Psychology and Therapeutic Recreation before turning to golf as his profession. Ian has been at Eaglequest Nanaimo since 1998 and has completed Level 4 of the CPGA Teaching and Coaching Certification Program.
Ian enjoys developing a good working relationship with his students and understanding their needs. He works with players of all abilities and takes pleasure in seeing them progress in their skills.
Away from Eaglequest Nanaimo, Ian enjoys woodworking, fishing and reading.
Ulli Schindler
CPGA Teaching Professional
Eaglequest Nanaimo
Ulli made the big move west in the fall of 2003 from the Winnipeg area to Vancouver Island, and soon thereafter joined the team at Eaglequest Nanaimo. Before turning professional in 1996, Ulli graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Manitoba. He has achieved Level 4 Teaching and Coaching Certification from the Canadian PGA, and has experience teaching a wide variety of beginner and intermediate adults as well as junior clinics.
Ulli loves working with players of all abilities and seeing them improve. His background in education gives him a great framework for understanding how people learn and allows him to build solid learning strategies for his students.
Away from Eaglequest Nanaimo, Ulli enjoys hiking, skiing, movies, music, touring and reading about the methods of golf.
